Prof. Dr. Stephan Breidbach holds a doctorate (PhD) in Foreign Language Pedagogy. He is also a trained secondary teacher of English, Social Studies/History, and Drama. At Humboldt University, he is head of the Division of English Language Education. He publishes on CLIL, learner/teacher identities, foreign language learning/teaching policies, and historical and sociocultural contexts of foreign language learning/teaching and is involved in several international research projects (www.angl.hu-berlin.de/department/sec/ele/research/ projects/ index.html).
