Tecon3

All the partners will meet to discuss and present the findings of the project. The current pandemic forced us to move the first two meetings online. The pandemic did not stop us from doing our best!

The TPM details:

- - TPM 4
  - TPM4 (TE-CON3 lesson scenarios): In those trouble times we decided to build a metaphorical bridge between Tallin and Berlin. The meeting then had two co-hosts Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Tallin University. We had a chance to listen to an external rapporteur (Zbigniew Możejko, Ph.D) who reviewed our Framework (IO2) and gave us pointers on how to impove it. The aim of TPM4 was also to share the TE-Con3 lesson scenarios and Assessment Questionnaires - and agree on their final versions to be uploaded to the Multimedia Platform for TECon3. So, soon you will be able to see the units online!
- - TMP 3 (Romania) online edition
  - COVID strikes again and our Transnational Project Meeting in Pitesti was moved online! But pay no heed to that, we doubled the efforts to review our work on IO2 (TE-Con3 Framework and preliminary guidelines for teachers). The partners presented their drafts of the Framowork's chapters and we discussed the comment to find the clearest way to communicate our vision of the Modular Approach. After that, the Łukasiewicz Research Network presented an array of possibilities of the TE-Con3 Multimedia Platform (MUL-TECON) they are creating to host the TE-Con3 didactic resources.
- - TPM2 (EHE Report)
  - - event late May 2021/ September 16th/17th
    - place responsible partner: the University of Algarve (Faro, Portugal). Moved online
  - We decided to divide our work on the reports on the state of English teaching at tertiary level in the partner countries into two meeting. In Porugal, we finally met to incorporate the findings of the reports into IO2 and IO3 (TE-Con3 model) and to brainstorm on the ideas and the avenues we want to pursue. The key aim of TPM2 (both May and September edition) was to share the results of all partners’ work on IO1: reporting on the results of the teacher surve: reviewing the primary sources and policy documents to be used in the EHE final report draft; presentations of the EHE national reports by partner countries; discussion of the main points of the final EHE report....
- - Transnational Project Meeting 1, TPM1
  - - event kick-off meeting / late November 2020
    - place responsible partner: the University of Warsaw (Poland). Moved online
  - The aim of the kick-off meeting (Transnational Project Meeting 1, TPM1) was to discuss project preliminaries and financial regulations, overview the project structure, goals and objectives, anticipate problem areas and come up with countermeasures, as well as to introduce the framework for cooperation on the Intellectual Output 1 (IO1). We presented our institutions and had a chance to meet, even if only online, and get to know each other. We discussed and drafted a schema for a country and international report on the state of language teaching in Higher Education Institutions and decided on the role and content of a teacher survey we wanted to conduct.
